Connected communities research development workshop

The Arts and Humanities Research Council invites expressions of interest to attend a one-day connected communities research development workshop. The aim of this workshop is to support the development of ideas for research projects to explore and enhance the sustainability of outcomes from, and legacy of, research under the connected communities programme and to provide new insights on the potential broader cultural, economic and societal value of research under the programme.

Attendees at the workshop will have an opportunity to apply for ring-fenced funding for follow-up projects of up to £100,000 to support interdisciplinary collaborative grants combining arts and humanities expertise with other research disciplines and community, policy and practice partners.

Higher education institutions, some research council institutes and independent research organisations as well as individuals from outside the higher education sector are eligible to apply.

The AHRC will arrange accommodation and reimburse travel costs.
